Hiiiiiiiiii happy Saturday!
soo happy i’m back again ahah.
I know It’s been a longggg while since I last wrote (which was last year). Life has gotten in the way and it has been nonstop BUSYYYY. There wasn’t an opportunity for me to actually sit down and write, I was just all over the place with life. I was in Saudi Arabia for 2 months, I had 4 exams to do and lotssssss of essays to write (i was stressed with keeping up), I was working. just so many things were happening then January came and it was busy ever since.
I didn’t want to write not giving my full focus to it. I always enjoyed blogging and I want to write because i enjoy it, not because i have to for the sake of it. Soo happy that i opened my blog today and started writing. I even gave it an upgrade too (it looks sooo much prettier and cute now. Its like decorating your house) soI was editing my reels (check out my instagram @deafhijabi) and then it suddenly clicked that i haven’t blogged since last year sep and thanks to this reel that i was editing, it inspired me to write today’s topic which is Umrah.
Let’s talk about Saudi Arabia. That was a beautiful miracle itself!!!! Because from the start of 2025, I was making a lottttt of du’as to Allah to invite me back to His house. I was manifesting it every day through my du’as and through sujood. I just wanted to go to His house. Me and my husband would always say to each other that we should go, but we couldn’t find the time due to work. But i didn’t give up. I kept making du’as all the time and just being super hopeful.
Then we decided to go in April, but unfortunately we booked it so close to the Hajj dates (we didn’t know at the time) that they closed entry to Makkah. So instead, we went to Madinah and Jeddah, which were soo beautiful omg and we had the times of our lives, butttt there was this like sad feeling that we didn’t get to see Allah’s house and do Umrah.
But Allah’s plan is always the best, because He took me back. not once, not twice, but 3 times. It feels so unreal typing this, but Allah took me to His house 3 times in the space of 2 months. I remember on my last day in Makkah feeling so grateful that Allah invited me. I was thinking, what did I do to be here? How special was i to be here again and again?
All my loved ones would ask how lucky I was to go there again. But it wasn’t luck. It was my faith in believing Allah and knowing that He will take me there. I had faith in my du’as and sujood that took me there. I didn’t give up. I just knew in my heart that I would come back again, but I didn’t know when.
That’s when I knew a miracle happened. I am a hugeee beliver in making du’as when you want something. Because I know that Allah won’t reject my du’a. Its just the matter of me being patient. It can be hard, especially if it something that you so desperately want but patience is what will get you to that du’a. Trust me.
If there is something you so desperately want, simply make du’a. Make du’a in your sujood. After every prayer. Before going to sleep. Just make du’a anytime that you want. You have the most powerful weapon, and that is your du’a. Don’t waste your day by not making one.
Also, if you are reading this and haven’t been to umrah yet, then take this as your sign to go. Honestly, forget your holidays that you are planning this year, just go and do umrah because it will change your life. Your soul needs it. I have seen people’s lives change after coming back from umrah (including mine) and it’s just the most beautiful thing to see it.
